Eijkelkamp North America offers a wide range of multiparameter water testing equipment that is used to record trends across different water quality parameters in water bodies such as streams, lakes and rivers, as well as in seawater. Understanding these trends means that when there is a change it could be an early warning that there is a pollutant in the water or there has been a change in the aquatic ecosystem. Early detection is necessary to put mitigating measures in place.
The wide range of our precise water quality equipment are the best priced water quality sensors available. The multiparameter water quality instruments are designed for intuitive operation and suitable for testing groundwater, surface water and waste water. They are made from rugged materials to withstand harsh environmental conditions and all types of water.
Both the AP-2000 and AP-5000 are suitable for short to medium term unmanned monitoring. The probes can be connected to our modem or data logger. This gives you the capability to receive the data directly or capture data for months on end. If you require long term water quality monitoring solution, the AP-7000 is ideal for your needs. It has been designed with a self-cleaning capability. Combine the AP-7000 with our larger capacity data logger and with a telemetry system that sends the data captured directly to you.
The AP-700 and AP-800 packages represent the essentials in basic water quality monitoring. Offered as complete packages you are provided with everything you need to get testing water. Packages include an Aquaprobe, a GPS Aquameter, a 3 meter cable, accessories and some RapidCal calibration solution all housed in a neat carry case for easy storage and transport.
The following parameters can be recorded
Dissolved Oxygen (both), Specific EC (both), Absolute EC (both), pH (both), ORP (both), TDS (both), Resistivity (both), Salinity (both), SSG (both), Temperature (both), Turbidity (AP-800)
In addition to these basic parameters there is also the possibility to upgrade the DO sensor to an optical DO sensor and there is the option to add a depth sensor to the probe.
In addition all of the sensors on the AP-700 and AP-800 are replaceable. pH/ORP and turbidity sensors are user replaceable, whereas the Dissolved oxygen, conductivity and temperature sensors are all factory replaceable.
Our galvanic DO sensor tip has been modified to give an increased resistance to cleaning, allowing it to be easily maintained if the sensor is allowed to dry out. The Tip itself features a solid zinc block that can be polished without fear of damaging the sensors functionality.
The AP-2000 is the smaller of our advanced portable multiparameter water monitoring probes. It comes with a range of standard sensors included, it also offers some customization options that allow you to add even more sensors to the probe. All of our probes are constructed from tough marine grade aluminum that has been hard anodized, making it suitable for use in both fresh and salt waters.
The following parameters can be recorded
Optical DO, Specific EC, Absolute EC, pH, ORP, TDS, Resistivity, Salinity, SSG, Temperature
There are 3 costomizable choices, the probe has 1 Ion Selective Electrode (ISE) socket and 1 optical electrode socket, plus an option to add a depth sensor!
This depth sensor is capable of measurement accuracy of 0.5%FS. The depth is zeroed automatically whilst the conductivity is reading zero. As soon as the conductivity registers over 0 the probe depth begins to be calculated. Once the probe is lowered to the desired depth it must be secured, then using the GPS Aquameter the depth can be zeroed once again. Now the AP-2000-D will detect small changes in the water level and display them as a positive or negative change.
The AP-7000 Aquaprobe is designed for long term deployment utilizing a central cleaning system to keep the fitted sensors clean reducing the effects of bio-fouling common in extended deployments. The probe comes with all of our standard parameters including optical dissolved oxygen, it also features 6 user configurable auxiliary sockets allowing you to add multiple specialist sensors to the probe. The AP-7000 is capable of measuring up to 17 individual parameters at once.
Standard parameters on the AP-7000
Optical DO, Specific EC, Absolute EC, pH, ORP, Depth, TDS, Resistivity, Salinity, SSG, Temperature
The AP-7000 features 6 Auxiliary sockets to allow you to add further sensors to the probe. The sockets are completely unrestricted so you can fit the probe with any combination of our ion selective or optical sensors.
